Far North Fiberglass was founded in January of 1999 by Yukoners Jamie Bowie and Doug Walker. The manufacturing facility, located in Whitehorse, the capital city of Canada's Yukon Territory, went on-line in March of that same year.

    From the beginning, our products have been used extensively in the target market areas of public and private campgrounds and recreational areas (outdoor toilet pedestals), water recreation (dock systems, cartop boats and canoes), and residential and commercial construction (above and below ground holding tanks). Carefully analyzing other manufacturers' designs has allowed us to design products that are as efficient as possible in our own line, and watching the practical application of our products has allowed us to perfect our designs.

    Our experience with a wide range of fiberglas products allows us great flexibility in the fabrication of custom replacement and replica parts and components, as well as repairing fiberglass boats, tanks, skimmers and other items.

    In 2006, we partnered with Arrow Truck Caps in Kelowna, British Columbia. They now manufacture our canoes and car-top boats, while we retail their extensive line of truck caps.
